Cain could not love his brother; his heart flowed with rage.
Abel would’ve gladly assisted him, but Cain wasn’t on the same page.
God provided him with a way of escape, but Cain had other plans.
Abel thought he would spend time with his brother; instead, his blood began to flow throughout the land.
What a shame!
Unlike his father, Adam, Cain had no one else to blame.
And neither do we.
We must do better.
'“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”'
John 13:34-35 (HCSB)
